digital pen and paper : green it policy

A responsible company

All company employees are aware of the environmental issues involved in our day-to-day operations. Likewise, our solutions were designed so that their implementation significantly reduces our customers’ energy footprint in several areas:

Less waste

By printing on demand only those documents needed, our solutions ensure that only the quantities effectively used will be printed. No buffer stock is required. We manage replenishments in less than 72 hours on customer request.
Our solutions offer a real gain in operational efficiency and eliminate buffer stocks, which are no longer necessary.

Less carbon

When we print duplicated forms for our customers’ needs, we systematically make an NCR copy, i.e. No Carbon Required.
Vegetable-based ink is used instead of conventional carbon copies. The energy footprint is reduced at both paper manufacture and destruction.

Less shipping

Huge amounts of energy are spent shipping paper across the world.
We significantly reduce the energy bill (and the global bill) for shipping documents to their place of use: documents that were generally printed in three copies are now only printed in two or even one copy. The completed document is immediately scanned at the source and digitally shared by the people with access rights.
The “outgoing” trip is halved, and the “return” trip is eliminated, since it is digital!
In addition, there are no more rough drafts or multiple paper source documents: the data is shared by everyone in real time on the secure Web portal.

A very natural kind of recycling: reuse

How many digital/IT devices are used for more than three years?
Our digital pens are very robust and highly reusable. In addition, a single pen can be used for several simultaneous trials or projects.
And when the project ends, it will simply be reused for future projects. Some of our customers have been using the same pen for more than six years!
