AP-HP clinical research is the leading European clinical research center with 354 active clinical studies and 35,000 patients enrolled. To fulfill the requirements in terms of lawful conformity and implementation simplicity, AP-HP wants to preserve paper as data collection tool. The challenge is to manage thousands of patients, obtain results within very short timeframes and ensure the data quality and accuracy, by reducing physicians workload.
AP-HP chose to use Clin’Form® solution for a large multi-central trial. The Digital Pen is capable of recognizing several million uniquely patterned backgrounds which opened a wide range of traceability options. Thanks to its intuitive technology, it requires no end-user training for collecting the data. Clin’Form® allows user to view, remotely and almost instantaneously, data captured. Data can then be checked and extracted to populate a database.
