Digital paper is one of the main components of Kayentis digital pen and paper technology. An invisible pattern patented by industry partners, Anoto, is applied during document printing which allows a digital pen to locate itself on the form during writing. Each digital page has its own unique pattern for identification. The invisible pattern technology can be used on all types of paper which become digital when printed.
Used in combination with the digital pen, data handwritten on digital paper is recognized and captured by the pen's camera and is transferred in real time to a Web portal where all captured data relating to a patient or trial can be tracked, monitored and processed.
